Proof documents

What counts as proof

Proof documents are usually an invoice, receipt, trace-transaction or weight ticket. They are proof that you have bought or collected waste or recyclable material, and proof that you have sold or disposed of it.

A proof document carries the seller or buyer name, the date, the kilos, the material, and shows that it was issued to you. Kolekt censors price, value and seller/buyer name, because none of that is relevant to a certificate buyer.

The Steps

  1. You select whether the document is an input or an output document.
  2. You upload your documents (PDF, JPG), each less than MB. They are read one at a time.
  3. We read it and fill in your form for you to check.
  4. We check if it is real.
  5. We censor it to hide the price and the seller/buyer details.
  6. You check the filled-in data against your document.
  7. You check that your document has been properly censored.
  8. We check documents that have been flagged by our system.

Matching and publication

If you file 3 kg of input documents, 1 kg of sold recyclables and 1 kg of waste disposed to landfill, we publish a 2 kg certificate: 2 kg of output can be matched against 3 kg of input.

The remaining 1 kg of input is still waiting for an output document, so it is a shortage rather than a certificate.
